I'm starting to resent this.
I live in Washington and it takes me a three and one-half hour drive _WEST_ to get to the Naches trails. At best they're in central Washington, in reality.
You west-siders need gain some perspective....
We're all snobs! And we all work at Microsoft or Boeing.
So.... that being said... we've decided anything on the eastside of the Cascade range will be called Eastern Washington. We're tossing around the idea that areas east of Bellevue, but on the west side of the Cascades will be called Central Washington. Anyone who lives on the west side of Puget Sound is just considered to be "way out there". Tacoma always seems further away than it really is, and anything even further south is called "almost in Oregon". Same with anything north of Everett, being know as "Canada, eh?"
Hopefully that ends any confusion. We don't care if it takes you 3.5 hours to drive to Naches, we only care when it takes us 3.5 hours to get across the 520 bridge!
